Through it’s thousand children and more than five hundred women. Towards Future is also organizing Women’s Sports for last 5 years and get immense support from the women. A group of young girls are interested to continue Football. As a result, a group with young girls has been formed.
Most of our beneficiaries (80%) belong to Islam Community. The girls of this community are not allowed to play outside when they reach in their puberty stage. Most of them (Girls) get married at the age of 15 or 16. Early pregnancy is very common here. Towards Future launched a campaign against child marriage and promotion of girl’s child education in 2012 with the active support of Action Aid Association. Every year Towards Future organized different programs on this issue. On occasion of Human Rights Day, Towards Future organized Women’s Sports with game like Handball, Football, Kabadi, Tug of Wire for women and girls. Every year number of participants are increasing. Towards Future faced lots of challenges from religious leaders. But Towards Future continued this event for last 5 years and get support from the villagers and women. A Football team has been formed who practice every Saturday in the nearest playground of Towards Future’s field office.
