KidzPlanet Learning Centre (KPLC) is a joint initiative of Towards Future and KidzPlanet Switzerland. It is a formal school established in 2013. This year KPLC has completed 10 years. To celebrate this journey KidzPlanet Switzerland & Towards Future organized a day long Event in Kolkata and a representative from KidzPlanet Switzerland participated along with. The event started with a cycle rally. Local youths participated in this rally and covered 5 kilometres starting from Mahammadpur to Rajarhat Chowmatha. The rally was followed by an art event where each class of this school took part. This was a group painting initiative guided by the celebrated artist, Chandranath Saha. In the 2nd half, there was a cultural programme where students of this school performed a drama directed by Samuho Collective and a professional theatre group performed a drama named “Bhagawati The Great”. There were more than 700 participants in this event.
