Bhabook

Bhabook is a programme under Towards Future. In this programme, we have a group of library enthusiasts working on libraries for children in Kolkata. Our core objective is to support learning communities, especially in underserved areas of kolkata.
We plan to establish vibrant library spaces with a diverse contemporary collection, enabling children to experience joy of engaging with children’s literature and develop a love for reading/ We want to expand opportunities to engage with books, ideas and the written words, meaningfully and thoughtfully. Eventually we want to enable a tribe of library educators to establish and run functional vibrant libraries.
Our model of work includes several steps that are listed below:
